A Sports Educator Turned Entrepreneur

Sportal Corporate Director Dr. Gaurav Pant himself is a sports educator who did his PhD in Sports and then M.B.A in Marketing and has worked in schools, research centres, and then in universities to understand the system needs for new sports enthusiasts who want to pursue their career in Sport. 

Dr Gaurav’s years of experience in the field of Sports Education have taught him the importance of making sure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. 

Talking about Physical Education Curriculum developed by Sportal Corporate for schools, he said  Sportal Corporate’s  Physical Education Curriculum would play a critical part in any child’s education; it not only teaches them how to play sports effectively but also helps them build healthy habits that will last throughout their lives. The curriculum is so beautifully interlinked with other subjects that kindergarten students while playing, understand Mathematics, Directions, Colours, Solar System etc., and the same goes with higher classes’ laws of motion to the function of the heart are linked with the curriculum. A fine reporting system helps schools know about day-to-day classroom activities. He believes that Physical Education and Sports are now rapidly becoming part of the formal education system where students and parents are seeing it as a full-time career, not as recreation or extra subject.

He also talked about ESports Growth and how Sportal is working on the development of an E-Sports programme for non-technical branches, which will soon be in front of society.

Overall, Sportal wants to change the perception of Society regarding Sports and Physical Education by bringing changes through the Formal Education System.
