The strategy moved into commercial operation on 25 July 2026, when the first dispatch of JSTL 550 SHD TMT Bars began from Lall Steels Pvt. Ltd. at Giridih, Jharkhand.
The Giridih facility became the first manufacturing unit in the current JSTL 550 SHD expansion.
