IIHMR University Strengthens Public Healthcare with Exclusive Training for Punjab’s Senior Medical Officers
Welcoming the participants, Dr. P.R. Sodani, President, IIHMR University, Jaipur, highlighted the institution’s role in capacity building for the healthcare sector, noting that professionals from more than 40 countries have benefitted from its short-term training programs.
Jaipur : IIHMR University, Jaipur, successfully concluded a five-day customized Training Program on Hospital Management for 28 Senior Medical Officers (SMOs) of the Government of Punjab. The program was designed to strengthen healthcare delivery in Punjab by equipping senior medical officers from Community Health Centres (CHCs) and District Hospitals with advanced managerial competencies.
Welcoming the participants, Dr. P.R. Sodani, President, IIHMR University, Jaipur, highlighted the institution’s role in capacity building for the healthcare sector, noting that professionals from more than 40 countries have benefitted from its short-term training programs. “As one of the very few institutions in India to offer structured hospital management training for government officers, we continue to pioneer healthcare leadership development,” he stated.
