The Delhi government has set up a committee to assess jammer technologies from all over the world for their ability to block mobile signals in jails. The committee comprises experts from IIT Madras, IISC Bangalore, DRDO, C-DAT, and IB and SPG officers, and is chaired by DG (Prisons). The committee will suggest the most appropriate jammer technology, including 5G network, for implementation in Delhi
